    My first accident :(

Hey everyone, I just backed into a pole about 30 minutes ago

OOOOOOH I'm so pissed that I've hurt my baby

The parts affected and that need replacement are:

    * Left Taillight assembly
    * Rear bumper assembly cladding, the part that has the 2 small round reflectors.

The rear door and all other parts are perfect.

My question is where is the cheapest place to find the parts I need? I will check my local Isuzu dealer however in the past they have always been so expensive. Any suggestions?

Thank you soooooo much for any advice and help.

    Sorry to hear that Ty...bummer.

    My suggestion...for the future...

    TOW HITCH AND STEP BAR

You might of missed the step bar if you were at the tail light area ..BUT..
....this set up saved me , and maybe you next (if!) time.
I'd have lost the rear door & cladding without it.
Its a life and $$$ saver given the cr@ppy rear vision !

About$100 to replace the step bar....DEALOMANIA!

I might be interested in the damaged cladding if ya want to part with it.
I dream of a carbon version and may be able to use your damaged one as a mold.

I'd say your first stop should be Merlin.

Since you'll have that rear cladding off anyway, now's the perfect time to install Tone's receiver hitch. Taking that cladding off was the worst part of the job for me.

Post your success. I need to replace my right tail light assembly.

Thanks guys for the advice. Oddly enough, I already have Tone's hitch and the Rhino step bar. The accident happened on the left rear part of the cladding and the step bar was not touched at all.

I just ordered a right tail light from Merlin @ $172.31. The only problem is that it is backordered & won't arrive for 3-6 weeks.

    Rear bumper cladding

I have a brand new rear bumper cladding to replace my original. Original has a dig line up it from a trailer tongue. Not bad, mind you, but an imperfection none the less. I still have to get the tailgate cladding since that was also involved. I would sell you my old one for $100 plus shipping if you need it. Still a good bumper but for the scratch mark. I have actually watched my rear bumper reform itself after it's corner was crushed. Amazing. Took about 25 seconds. The trash dumpster at work is a "VX magnet". We've met quite a few times. It's actually a joke here.
Love the trailer hitch, took all the abuse and guided me right up on top of a Audi's right headlamp once. Audi-$3855 in damage. VX-$0. Crushed the Audi. WHOOOO......HOOOOOOO!

    Let me know.
