    Good one, Jo.

I don't think the results are in, yet. And I know he had that long drive home.
But I'm sure he'll be anxious to post asap.

    Just got home!
The race went well. The swim was a blast. 3-5 foot waves and 57 degree water (Bbrrrrrrrr!)...2 laps. Got out in good position. Blasted through the 4 lap bike. Each lap the wind got worse. The bike was flat but the wind made up for it! The run hurt...they always do. 2 loops made interesting by throwing in 3/4 of it in the sand on the beach.
Ended up 12th overall and 2nd in my age group. Not to shabby for an old guy!

Tom, it was a 1/2 Ironman... 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run. It gets harder every time to keep up with those 20ish year olds but my best is yet to come...I keep getting faster (the coach knows his stuff).
Dumke, definately more than 2 in my age group. I am in one of the biggest age groups so at most races the numbers are big and it is very competitive.

    CONGRATS, Very impressive Billy.
I normally get tired just trying to find a parking spot at the gym.

Hey Jo, What pub did you say you leave your VX overnight at?...I could use one of them fancy roof racks
