    I ended up going with:
    Front:
    Torsion Crank... Alot of it...
    Ball Joint Flip
    Bilstein H2s
    Energy Low Profile Bumpstop
    Heavy Duty Tie Rods
    Energy Sway bar Bushings

    Back:
    OME 912
    Billstein H1
    Energy Sway Bar
    Energy High Pro Bumpstop (stacked on half of the stock bumpstop)
    1" coil urethane Spacer
    --

    Brake lines

    there are an assortment of steel brake lines on ebay in the stores section

    Shocking Part Numbers

    I looked on the Bilstein website and could not find the part number listed above for the front shocks. After phoning and discussing this with them, the front p/n should be B46-1738-H2. As noted above, these are the shocks recommended for the Trooper (B46-1739-H1 for the rear). The sales guy at Bilstein said, "a what?" when I told him it was for a Vehicross. lol

    optional coil spacer

    Along with the 1" spacer I think you should put the 2" spacer from Indy4x4 as well:

    Thanks, Randy. I was worried the H1's would be too stiff if they were made for the heavier Trooper but if they're still softer than stock, I'll give them a try.

    By comparison....

    My 2001 OEM shocks with 60,000 miles on them are still slightly stiffer than the new Billstein H1's, but the ride comparison between the two VX's the shocks are mounted on is pretty close.

    Hi, cwillyrun,
    I apologize for being late with this post. I mentioned a few days ago that I would get you the part numbers for the Bilsteins, and it slipped my mind until now. You are correct, both front and rear are "B46". I installed B46-1739-H1's on the rear, and B46-1738 H1's on the front. I believe that the H1's are stiffer than the H2's, and the H1's are still slightly softer than stock, so, if you want to get as close to a stock ride as you can, I would recommend the H1's on both ends.
