July VXer meet in Chicago!

Hey guys and gals! Who's ready for another Midwest VX meet?

AnalogVX and myself were talking about getting something together for a Saturday in July, either the 12th or the 19th. I know the City of Lombard holds cruise nights all Summer long, and I think it'd be WAY cool to show up with a dozen or so VXes. This post is just to get the ball rolling so if anyone has another idea, or prefers one weekend over the other, let's here it. Let's shine 'em up & show 'em off!!!

My brother lives and works in Chicago. I was there last month and we were thinking of taking a drive out there this July from NJ. I have done that drive many times. I hate it, but Chicago is worth it. Especially in the summer.

It would be great to schedule our drive out there around the meet!!

Looks like Saturday July 12th is the better day, and if we can get some out-of-towners in, that'd be awesome! I'm still miffed that I couldn't make the Houston meet!

WAZZUPP! Im sure I have meet a few of you guys. I moved to Phoenix back in October. And since I have been here I have been in 5 VX off road adventures and to the LA meet. I will be in Chicago the 4th of July weelkend. And YES! I can take my mothers VX for the long weekend. But if you guys are doing it on the 12th then... Just wanted to say HELLO!!!

Yea, it was nice to meet you at the VX meet at Giordano's in St. Charles. Nice to hear from you. Too bad you can't stretch out that weekend a little longer.

O.K. I talked to one of the organizers for Lombard's cruise nights, and she said the event starts at 6 P.M. and the main parking lot for the event is at the Fifth Third Bank 211 W. St. Charles Rd. We should have no trouble lining up together if we get there early (I'm thinking 4) and hold spots for late-comers, but that at 6 the spots can't be held and are up for grabs. There are plenty of places to eat, and there'll be live music. This is gonna be a blast!
