BUMP!
O.K. we made it. Saturday is here! Just in case anyone gets lost, I'll have my cell phone with me (773)339-4033. See you later!
You're up early...or are you STILL up?
I'm getting ready to wash and shine.
I'll see everyone there!

...because vinyl just sounds better!
I'm at work ('til 2:30)... mornings are rough for me, but I'm psyched for this meet so that's helping!
Pretty cool time tonight. 5 out of ??? not bad. Tons of Rods, Roadsters and Muscle cars. The VX stood out and got SOOO many looks. Of corse everyone stopped at the PROTON! And Nocturnal got a lot of lookers...he brought his Moab pics in a frame! LOL! Nice idea. Should have thought of that. Anyway Missed all the others who could not make it. Maybe next time?
*edit* for my lack of being able to count.

What a cool night! RichD (AnalogVX) and his daughter Darcy showed up in his always gleamin' Astral. Mike (Proton Smoke) shows up in high style (all the way from Ohio... take THAT all you locals that wussed out!) with a lifted Proton sporting a trick front license plate that retracts up under his VX when he shuts the motor off... suh-weeeet! Luis made it once again to keep everyone entertained. He may not be active on the forums, but he's made every (non off-roading) meet so far, and is going to hit the Badlands park the next time the 'Zoids hit it for sure. Now we just gotta talk him into Zu Zoo VII! Lastly, just when I figured 4 was all we were going to get... Sgt. Batguano (Mike) cruises on up in his de-badged Ebony. Very cool! The VXes did grab a lot of looks, and yes Mike's lifted Proton was the biggest draw... but at least our CV boots weren't ventilated. Beautiful weather, lots of cool cars, and VXes... awesome! Pictures will be posted tomorrow. Oh, and thanks again Sgt. for not letting me forget the banner... D'oh! Good night!

Again... it was cool seeing you guys yesterday, and we'll do it again soon!
Cool pics Gil! I'll have mine back in a couple days.
I've heard about Freud's papers on Proton envy, but i always just assumed that it was a myth. Now I understand that not everybody can afford a Proton VehiCROSS, but you all have the option of a new paint job. Isuzu code #804. And on a more serious note, I had a great time hanging out with the VX owners who were proud enough to show up. Nice work with the photos Nocturnal.
It was a pleasure meeting all of you.
COOL PICS! I remembered most of the guys in the pics from the meet in St. Charles last October. I do have to agree on the proton one. The one that pulls and gets all the attention.
O.K. Vic... I can understand looking at another VX (especially one much more modded than your own) and drooling. HOWEVER , I can't see it getting to the point where you'd prefer it over an Ebony. You, my friend, have serious issues! Repeat after me... black is best, black is best, black is best...
P.S. Sorry I missed you earlier in the month. Maybe I'll be able to get out your way for some wheelin' sometime!
