HL and CS are the greatest games of all time. For me, the console died when the old school platform games went away. That said, for console, driving and fighting games are all I can really get into. I've been playing Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection and I am loving it. I have been forcing myself to like GTA4, but that won't stop me from saying the controls and game play make me supereffingaggrevated. Why didn't they just make it first person or at least have a first person toggle with the ability to attach a keyboard and mouse? (Speaking of, can you attach a keyboard and mouse to the USB port on the PS3????).

The real problem I have with PC gaming is all the hacking, and all the handicaps (someone with a $15,000 PC vs someone with a $1500 PC). They NEED to make a console that you can go online with, and that works flawlessly with a keyboard and mouse, so FPS games can break through into the console realm, and level the playing field. I really don't understand how ANYONE can play a game like COD4 with a freaking joystick.

Bart is dead on! But there is hope for consoles in the FPS arena. This is an article I found awhile back that’s pretty interesting about a mouse and hand controller for the PS3.
