I'm all grown up and put away my toys and would rather play with a real live women.
Just for laughs so don't take offense (too much)

as someone who also owns all three, I would say the 360 at the moment, unless you REALLY love metal gear.
and I'm the guy who refused to buy the first xBox.
There is a HUGE library of very good games already for the 360. The online community is so much more refined since it's paid, and the quality of the online arcade games is great and handled very well.
Now, in favor of the PS3, I LOVE watching bluray movies on my 1080p set. I LOVE playing ninja gaiden, uncharted, and a few other sorted games. I'll definitely be getting metal gear and a few other 1st party titles that are planned this year. I also love how quiet it is compared to my 360.
I find that when i try to play online with many games on the PS3 that most people aren't using headsets and thats annoying when playing a team based game such as COD4 or Vegas or something.
I would say if you are into hard core multiplayer and want as many good games as possible at the moment go with the 360. The exclusives at the moment are many, and of great quality.
If you want the multimedia capabilities of bluray and few REALLY good single player games (exclusives) and amazing build quality go with the ps3. the drive is also VERY easy to swap out for a regular laptop drive on the PS3 where the 360 forces you into their drive for stupid money. (only important really if you plan on putting lots of media on the console.
This is only discussing first party/exclusive titles, obviously there are many titles that are available on both.
I agree that I love the first party titles for my wii, and i use it for playing retro titles, but my 360 and PS3 see much more one on one action.
Good luck!

My partner and i play MMO's so does that count as playing with a real live women?
Only if you get to see boobies
Im a ps3 guy. love it and never turning back. Counting down the days for MGS!!! Plus BD is great! The free online gameplay is a plus, and the PS Store will be coming out with the movies soon(fingers crossed). PS Home looks pretty sweet, but has been delayed since last year... all in all still a great home entertainment system. What i love about it the most is being able to stream my anime fansubs and recorded tv shows wirelessly to the ps3 and watch it on the hdtv.... for those that are worried about hdd space, there are simple mods to attach a sata 3.5 to replace the 40,60,80gb 2.5 drives...
As for the Wii, its fun, but i cant imagine just sitting there playing a game as i would the ps3 or 360, I would have to have several friends over or a party/bbq to actually have some fun on it...
If i want to play 360 i just go to my friends crib.

its a little late to be asking this now as the ps3 has already been purchased.. but is there a difference in the 40-60-80 gig versions?(other than the hard drive size of course)

oh i get to see em...touching em another story....wait..tmi?
what is AOC like? i have been playing wow since beta. i am now multi boxing 3 accounts.
My wife really wants a wii. We already have a 360 and I am wondering if buying another system is actually going to keep her interest. For those with a wii is the novelty of the system keeping you playing or does the interest die off pretty quickly? Also, anyone have wii fit and have an opinion? We have Yourself! Fitness and I've actually used it and like the way they build a custom routine for you everytime. Just curious how they compare if anyone has both.

oh, okay.
yeah, I've never gotten into those.
But playing something like Halo or GTA online sounds like a blast.
Not sure if that's considered the same thing or not.
