The PS3 overall is far from being as good as it should be. Considering it had over 1 year to make improvements over the XBOX360. The controller is junk, no removeable battery pack, and it has to be plugged in to charge...and IT DOES NOT TURN ITSELF OFF!!!! If you are using the PS3 Blu ray drive to watch a movie, gotta remember to turn off the controller, or buy their stupid DVD remote.
The OS on PS3 is a joke, it is the same non-user friendly POS that the PSP uses. Granted it is free, as compared to XBOX live, but I can watch netflix via my xbox, stream all the videos/music/photos that are on my computers with one click, very user friendly and intuitive, even my wife can do it

I traded my PS3 for another 360, and have never looked back since.
Funny, I completely disagree. IMO, the XBOX 360 is the poorest made console of all time. The only reason microsoft has an extended warranty is because they would have been sued by all the angry owners of broken xbox 360s. A 33% fail rate is horrible, the PS3 & Wii are way below that.

I was amazed how quiet the PS3 is compared to the xbox. The xbox has a big problem with cooling and causes the fans to run on high constantly. I owned three xboxs and they all broke including one that broke twice after it was fixed by microsoft. I eventually learned how microsoft fixes them and discovered how cheaply they were made.

With that said...as a gaming console its awesome and has great games. I need to get my last one fixed for the multiplayer games and the exclusives but I will stick with the PS3 mainly because it actually works when I want to play something. MY 2 cents

The only reason why I care about any of this is because I wasted alot money on consoles with no improvement in quality after microsoft acknowledged the problems.
