Good Times Car Show, Colorado Springs, Aug 17th

I plan on being there. Anyone else interested? They had ~400 cars there last year and not a VX in sight. I think that's just wrong, so I'm going to haul the Proton over to Old Colorado City and see how many "WTF is it?" looks I can get. $20 registration fee that goes to Canine Companions for Independence and you get a little dash plaque.

It would be great to get a few of the Denver area VXers out there so we can really turn some heads. That, and it's a great excuse for a mini meet.

Maybe Scott and Laura can make it out with Moncha?

Just submitted my $20 to GTCS, so I guess I'm committed now. I figured that I've paid more in some cities for parking and so I'm just calling this a "really good parking space" and then go out and check out the other cars and shop a bit around Old Colorado City.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the car show this weekend because I have to be in Telluride for a soccer tournament (I know, tough life). I hope that at least one of us makes it out to wow the crowds.

Too bad on the miss. I'll be there and can't wait when the thunderstorms break out and I'm the only one still there. Such is the life of a daily driver... rain or shine (or blizzard), the VX pulls through.
