    Good Sun (windshield) shield...

Not looking for a $5 cheapo (unless those work great), but does anyone have any info on what is good out there?

    Thanks

I just use one I picked up from Kragen. Works fine for protecting my dash and steering wheel and it keeps the heat down inside for sure.

Are your windows tinted? That helps a lot too.

I use one of the aluminized fold up ones from Wal-mrt. The large size fits ours the best.

I'll have to take a photo of what I did with mine, but I will try to explain. I took 2 key rings and attached them to my visor bars. Then, I attached two clasps to the holes on the top corners of the visor. This keeps the visor from flopping down and being useless. I find suction cups don't really work, plus they leave rings on the windshield.

While Driving or when Parked? For Parked:

I've used the cardboard kind (they worked fine if you have the right size), the tinfoil coated ones (worked till the clear started flaking all over my car), but in my VX now I have one that is made of some kind of nylon (maybe brushed nylon) and in it are two wire hoops that are almost the heigth of the windshield. The material is actually rectangular and fills my window space quite well, and when it's not in use, you just fold it in 1/2 (the two hoops on top of eachother), then by holding each side and twisting them, they go into a smaller 8" diameter circle for storage. Just another option from many out there.
If you don't first THINK THINK, you could end up in deep DO DO!
