From the posts, looks like the website is messed up as people who called them are reporting out of stock.
Looked like a good deal when I saw it, so thought someone here may able to make use of this deal.
Will a 18x8.5 work on a stock set up VX, no lift? What would the correct tire size be if the above wheel worked?

Nope, that's what I have and you definitely get some front rubbing. The offset of the wheel will determine how bad that is. Mine have an offset of "0" and the rubbing called for cutting in the front and rear of the front wells.
The tires I have mounted are 285/60-18. I imagine if you wanted to be ghetto fabulous, you could use that rim and go with lower profile rubber to avoid rubbing of course, heh.
