Got the direct link from a few posts later:

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/We...0402&t_pl=7117

From the posts, looks like the website is messed up as people who called them are reporting out of stock.

Looked like a good deal when I saw it, so thought someone here may able to make use of this deal.

    18 inch Weld Wheels

Will a 18x8.5 work on a stock set up VX, no lift? What would the correct tire size be if the above wheel worked?

Nope, that's what I have and you definitely get some front rubbing. The offset of the wheel will determine how bad that is. Mine have an offset of "0" and the rubbing called for cutting in the front and rear of the front wells.

The tires I have mounted are 285/60-18. I imagine if you wanted to be ghetto fabulous, you could use that rim and go with lower profile rubber to avoid rubbing of course, heh.

    Yes a 18 x 8.5 will be fine....

Are you kidding me. A 18x8.5 would fit. Remind yourself what stock (2000-2001) is first before you persued someone to not by a rim.

    I would work in a 255/18 tire.

People are ridiculously way to quick to say things will not work when it comes to rims. I have had 16's,18's and 20's on.

Just pay attention to the offset, and overall diameter of the tire you like.

    18x8.5 Wheel Continued...

So any of those Weld Wheels would work on the 4 wheel Parts website as long as it is 18x8.5 & 6x5.5 bolt pattern? The Weld website is weak as it does not show any specs. on the wheels and even some of the wheels that 4 wheel parts website shows. The only spec the VX manual shows is a 38mm offset and the stock wheel is a 18x7JJ. I like the Cheyenne and the Velocity Weld Wheels but I cannot find enough specs on them for offset, etc.(the Weld site does not show these wheels in a 18x8.5). Maybe I am blind or it is on a different link. If not, I can call 4WP or Weld next week for some details. What would be a correct offset for an aftermarket 18x8.5 wheel on a stock VX set-up? I assume the tire size would be the same of 245/6018 or the 255 like JHarris mentioned. The tire would get a little "fatter" because the rim is wider by 1.5 inches. Anyone running anything like this or in the past with no rubbing issues?

Center bore is another issue with many aftermarket wheels...110 mm, just to be sure they will clear the front hubs.

Also, you're lifted...in the above post, lasturbo specifies "no lift".

Stock 00-01 = no lift and 18's. I was once un-lifted. The extra 1.5 is not huge. Rubbing is a mild issue and something that be be overcomed easily and be virtually unnoticeable.

Pay attention to the bores and remember you are dealing with mm's on offset use a convertor online to see how minimal those diferences truly are.

Ok, for an unlifted 01 with 18s which one of those wheels would you want if you were in the market? Wish I could turn this into a poll.

Pulled a wheel off and measured....

    Factory 18 or 16
    6x5.5 bolt pattern
16x7 or 18x7 JJ Wheel Size
    38 mm Offset
    5.5 inch backspace
Center Bore is 3 7/8 or 3 15/16 (depending on the measuring tape)

Want to put on a 18x8.5 Weld Wheels with NO LIFT. Sounds like it is possible but need specs on 18x8.5 aftermarket wheels that fit on the VX and the specs of these Weld wheels to match:

    or
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/We...%2fR476-885855

    Tire size:
245/60 18 or close to it.
