Here is the deal with my VX engine. My oil leaked very slow, seems to be normal, and a jiffy lube told me it was a cracked rear main seal. I found out its about 150 to replace, so i just put a quart in once a month. to make a long story short i must have waited to long the last time because while i was driving a banging noise from under the hood started. it started faint and got louder until i pulled over and turned off the engine. i got it towed...

recently i have put oil in it and tried to start it. it powers on like normal but won't turn over. it starts to but stops abruptly...kinda like eerrt...if that helps.

so...any suggestions? is it siezed?? rebuildable???

sounds like its seized.. and most likely not rebuildable

...unrelated to oil issue, but...
Does it at all fire on start up ? or just try and try to turn over?
Coil fuse in the drivers panel would stop it from firing...

it really doesnt even try to turn over. it just goes errtt...once.
