    LOL...I'm a lumberjack & I'm OK...I sleep all night & I work all dayyy...

I'll guess that the local tree service isn't too worried about the compettion...

I was sitting at my desk in a cringe watching that. Maybe I've seen too much Americas Funniest Home Videos, but I expected a tree to end up on TOP of a VX by the end. Maybe just a branch through a windshield.

Glad it turned out well! ...and it worked well, too! You know, I've got some dead branches I could get rid of...

Never have a human do a job a VX can do.

heh... we thought about using the chainsaw.. but then nobody wanted to volunteer to climb the tree.. you cant tell from the video but the area drops off 10-12 feet fight mostly straight down to the road.. so you would be really high up trying to cut down the branch.. plus it was fun the way we did it..

we were safe about it though.. no mishaps here! the blue line at the end is a safety line so that if the main rope broke.. there wouldnt be recoil to send the shackles flying into cars houses people etc.. but yea.. good times

and no dub.. definitely not thinking about taking it up as a business.. its more fun as a hobby... come to think of it.. trees and my vx have brought me a great deal of fun......

That was YOU in that vid Eric?! I see... and yes, I saw the excellent "safety measure" you installed. Clearly, you are a professional at this! :-)

I'd watch it again but it is blocked today (although I could get at it yesterday...)

yep that was me in the hat.. who else's VX could look so sexy doing yard work?

anyway yea.. i wouldnt have done it if there was any risk of the vx getting hit by anything.. also in the video its harder to tell but the tree was at an angle to the vx.. so i was back a good 30 ft from the branch being pulled down
