Anyone looked into these Stealth Custom Series wheels? I've been dreaming on the F5's 17X8.5 -10mm offset and 4.5" backspacing . I'm worried they'll stick out way too far. Wondered what everyone thought of them...

I had -2 offset on my Borbets and 265/60-18s with stock height, no lift.....and quite a bit of trimming. Had to pound the rear part of the front wheel well and pound back the bolt there....and cut out most of the fender liner, and they stuck out about 1/2" from the wheel well. With a -10 you're looking at at least the same amount of trimming and sticking out even further.

Good to know. I cringe when I think about BFH'n the rear of the front fender but maybe it's not too bad...? They also make a 16X8 with 0 offset and 4.5"BS. according to 1010tires offset calculator the 16" wheel will stick out 51mm more than the stock 18" that I'm running now. These SCS wheels look so good i just don't know if it's worth it.

There was a good amount of BFH work! Plus I had to have my sliders cut down about 1" on the front. The stock rims are +38 and of course the stock rim with the stock tire size does not stick out at all, so that 51mm won't stick out that amount, it will be less. A 0 offset is a little better. The stock rims are 7" wide and my Borbets were 8", so that CAN also factor in a bit with the wider rubber, depending on the tire size you go with.

What are the sliders? The tube steel? I was hoping to go with 33/11.5r16. I run the OME 912's and have been looking to add the daystar 1.5" spring spacer and more tbar crank...maybe even trying my hand at the diff drop. Someday i think I'd like to go 35's but it seems like a lot of work.

Here's some pics. I had my offroad shop do the work, and they made that wheel well look almost "normal".
Last pic is the VX-2 with the Borbet rims.

Rock Sliders are the black tubular bars where running boards go. To fit 33s or more talk to JoFotoz (Jo Birch).... Easiest to reach him on the FaceBook VX group. He's done all the things you've mentioned. (So have many others, but I know Jo well).
