turn signal problem

all of a sudden one day my dash lights started to flash with my signals but when iturned on my headlights then my right signal worked with the dash lights flashing but my left signal stayed on no flashing but left side turn signal bulbs are a lot brighter than normal i replaced the combo switch but i still have the same problem ???

If I had to guess (which I have to admit is sort of what I'm doing ), I'd say the fact that your left signal lights are brighter, along with the fact that they don't flash when the headlights are on, would be a good indicator (ok, sure...pun intended) of where to start looking first. Maybe one of the combination park/turn bulbs on the left side is bad?

thanks for trying, y33 , but last night i read on one of the threads to try disconnecting my trailer wiring module . lone and behold that was it faulty module . by reading that thread ,i saved myself hours of troubleshooting thanks again to whoever posted that thread

I have an issue with turn signals and cruise control caused by trailer wiring

When my turn signals were jacked up, it was my trailer light adapter too. Luckly I just didn't have a good ground tho so it was an easy fix.

2 years no issues w/ my trailer wiring

granted if my module goes out i cant get to it without rear bumper removal

lol true do have a cover over the plug that acts as a tester so constantly draws a small load where a trailer would... the one u haul instaled in spikes vx has caused flashing with turn signal issues since he got it...

if u want to give me your sea-doos i will gladly use the trailer wiring
