Not that anybody needs extra motivation, but here is a nice pic from last year (sorry, no VX content :bwgr: )...

Anyone riding solo that would like a spotter, I have a 3rd wheel coming with me on the trip, and of course, riding in the backseat is not cool at all. He has mountain biked MOAB, he is from Salt Lake. He is in the navy with me. He is good people, but anyone who doesn't want to ride alone on the trails, let me know, he is willing to help out.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Make sure to bring anyone, and everyone, that you think might want to do a little four wheelin' as there will always be room in someone's VX. Each morning when we meet up the people who need a ride will easily find one. As of now I have an empty passenger seat open, and I think I'm good people.

Thanks guys. We have started our planning already. We are gonna leave here (Charleston) on the afternoon of the 8th, drive through to KC, MO which should be about 20 hours with the trailer. Drop off my little ones with gma and gpa, then head to salt lake area, another 18 hours or so. So we will drive into MOAB on the morning of the 11th. So we can convoy with as many others as we can.
I did hit up northern tool yesterday, scored a 5gallon jerry can with pump and mount on clearance for 40 bucks. I am stealing the spare tire converted into off road stuff idea. The full size spare will be on the roof. I also picked up a bunch of large zipties, duct tape, mighty putty (miracle stuff) , come along, 30ft tow/snatch rope, first aid kit, still gotta get a hi-lift jack. Found a guy at work that has one he is gonna sell me.
All this is my 30th birthday present, which is in July, so just a bit early

FYI...There is no place to use the high lift on the VX unless you get the tire attachment.

80's/90's during the day and can be a little chilly at night. Also has rained on occasion.

It is desert, can be hot in the day and cold at night...some nights have been in the 40s though it is usually warmer...if you're camping plan accordingly.
95 Trooper with a buncha stuff nobody here cares about...

That’s all right, we'll just climb in to your spacious super trooper at night when it gets cooled.

Cars designed by spreadsheets make sense. Cars designed by engineers make history.

Good luck on that...Cinder, no doubt, will already be there, & Steves Trooper has only slightly more room in back than a VX...

Actually, since I will bee towing the Vx with my 07 expedition, we could just park a few Vxs in the back of it, keep your miles down...and I do allow pets, thanks to Wet Okole seat covers, the hair just comes right off.

The fetal position works good...even with the back seats removed I can't really stretch out back there...RS stands for Really Short. :grinr:

I do, however have more vertical space than a VX...
