THAT is funny, Dub. I actually use one of these for camping:

And for a while now I have been wanting one of these for my hitch:

PB, I like the idea actually, but the back seats are so damn big!

I can't wait for the weather to get better! Camping is on!

ya i was just thinking that if you dont use the seat anyhow, and you have all that space back there....then it wouldnt be that much of a burden to put back there along the side folded up.... i wouldnt worry so much about the size, but more that its uber heavy for a seat....
maybe when i have my sliders put on ill talk to the welder about making some easy brackets...
i've been wanting a reason to order a hitch for my VX (i know im gonna need it one day)...it would be nice to be able to tow a small trailer...

come to think of it, im sure someone out there makes something like this that is much more lightweight...is just that our rear seats are really comfy, and they recline

its definately not on the top of my to-do list...but maybe one day you'll see a contraption like this in moab

That's why I got it, just have it in case I ever need to haul stuff. If you get the frame mounted hitch, have fun installing it!

im not sure how its mounted but im definately gonna get the one that goes through the cladding, hidden... i know im not gonna use it much, so i want to have it as hidden as possible...i may even try to find a way to hide the receiver in the cladding...

im thinking it would be great to be able to tow the parental units boat if they decided to let me borrow it for the weekend or something

I don't really think that would be possible with Tone's hitch, there isn't enough room back there, but that said, Tone's hitch doesn't look bad at all, in fact I think it looks pretty stock like it belongs there. It's just a whore to install.
