HI VXNIT !
It isn't nice at all to have a coolant leaking, that can cause your engine to blow away due overheating so consider this:
How much is the dealer charging for the diagnostic VS how much can the the cost of a rebuild/new engine.
My 1rst suggestion to you is go & have the VX checked @ others AES certified shops & don't relay 100% on the isuzu stealership.
There must be few shops that will diagnost the problem for much less the dealer will charge you.
But since the leak is seems to be from the belt cover then is 85% possible that the water pump went bad. (broken gasket or seal)
Now,what i'll also suggest you to do is to have new timing belt, new water pump, new thermosthat, new hoses installed & get that over once & for all.
The timing belt is guarranteed to run for 100.000 miles according to isuzu so depending how much mileage is currently on your VX you may skip that for the moment.
Another thing you can do is to check all hoses related to the coolong system.
You should do that check up from under the engine, not over it,but have you time to do so,because it need detail eye to find possible cracked hoses.
Here @ Vx.info we relay for expertise & parts on merlin from St charles isuzu.
