Packing it up with my skis and/or snowboard and heading up to Mt Snow in VT for the annual guys' ski weekend with some buds.
I need to replace my Valeo wipers this week, though. The blades are awesome, but the plastic on the mounts is crap and gets brittle in winter, so both blades are "floating" at the end of the wiper arms. I saw that Bosche came out with a similar design, so I'm going to replace with those.
I just put on a set of Rain-X Latitude blades. They work great so far, but that's only been 4 days with just one rain shower.
This past weekend the VX got some fresh Mobil 1 in the engine an a car wash (the first wash since sometime before November of last year).

vt_maverick,
The step bars should only take about 30 minutes to install. I'll PM you my cell number if you want some pointers (kindly provided to me by Tone himself).

If you can get a hold of some aquapel, you will never need nice blades again. It is like Rainx on crack. It is what they use on airplane windshields. I scored a case of it, and since one application lasts about 3 months or so, basically oil change to oil change, ice doesn't stick, rain, nothin....not even bugs

Thanks Tom! Yeah, the Bosch Icons are what I was refering to. They are the same general blade design as Valeo wipers, but have their own mounting clip design. The spring-steel strip in the blades force them against the window no matter what the contour - the best approach, IMHO.
I may buy some for the FJ while I'm at it - it has three wipers with dinky little 14"-16" blades that freeze up constantly.
I pulled the front cladding and removed 2 pair of non-working fog lights from a PO and installed a fairly clean set from AutoZone. Rather than running a new wire and switch setup, I spliced in to the factory wire. Now they come on with the parking lights. Sweet!
Also last weekend I too did the Back 2 Black treatment and have been very happy with the outcome. Makes the whole VX look better. I also claybarred and polished the sheetmetal. She's getting there.
