Well, in prep of the Moab trip, (tranny was serviced a few weeks ago) This past weekend I: installed (3) trooper skid plates, changed fluids in transfer case, both diff's, engine oil and filter, Fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator change, air filter cleaned and oiled, MAP cleaned, all lube points hit, two power points installed and if it would ever stop raining here in Western Washington I might get around to detailing my beloved VX for it's Moab premier.
Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace... Never mind "Paris to Dakar", the VehiCROSS looks ready for the Martian desert.

I'm off to check the transmission fluid as I changed it last weekend.
I'm not sure that what came out was meant to be this colour:-
So its now all pink and sweet-smelling!

I'll be painting my calipers in red,detail inside (vacuum,leather conditioner,dash & trim on armorall,etc).
Dakar was just the begining.
Stripping out the radiator (again) to rinse it through and clean the weekend's mud out/off...

Just got my new sway bar bushings in the mail yesterday. Hopefully they will be going on on Sunday.
Got the 3 rear windows tinted - finally - yesterday (the Yaris is there all week - managed to get discounts for both cash and volume!) and swapped over the driver and passenger seats as the outer bolster of the driver's seat was getting a bit squashed.
All good fun and another couple of small steps of improvement

well done alan..
Nice wat % for the Tints?
So far this week Well the Weekend i finaly got around to greasing up the joints on the driveshaft (thanks to Etlsports Video and lots of thread on here it was very easy!)
And thanks to regreasing it i have lost the drivetrain vibration that i got after lifting and also a bit of a clunky noise at speeds over 90kmh has disappeared.
No idea when they were last greased but something im gonna keep on top of every couple of months or so.
Also got a set of Mud flaps off a Isuzu Mu ( I think Amigo for you guys) And fitted them to my vx. They look very good and go the job well.
Only had to drive new holes inthe flaps and the odd hole in the cladding. (poor cladding)
Pics of the flaps?
Had all windows retinted from when I did it in 04 with 6% Limo. new BF's all around... Started researching window fix and new door speakers to complete all at one time.
Changed transmission and adapter pan gaskets, changed transmission and transfer case fluid.
Here we go - Yes my vx is very dirty too cold lately to wash it
One origional hole was used Then two new holes were drilled in the cladding. For the origional hole just a new hole in the mudflap.
I only drilled the new hole because i wanted them to stick out a bit more because of my offset wheels.
