I smoked my lens using the same material I used to red out my taillight lens. It turned out good. It can be left permanently there but it is also can be easily removed.

how did you get it to conform to the lens so well and do you have any interest in selling the material or a set of pre smoked lenses?
The material I use is very easy to work with. Just heat it up with a hair dryer while working on the edges and it stretches. I can supply the material.

Looks good, so whats the actual name of the material ?
i went to my local auto store and got some red lense tape
and did my rear turn lights red..looks good

I can't say what he uses but Ultrakote Model airplane covering works great! with a little heat
