    Oh my aching back

When I bought my VX new back in 2000 I marveled at the great lumbar support in the front seat. One of the most comfortable car seats I ever sat in, I'd say. Well, after all those years the support seems to have abandoned my lumbar. So the question(s) -- is there any relatively simple way to fix my seat -- and if not, any suggestions as to a brand of back support that straps on to the VX seat?

    Thanks.

    DK,

Temporary fix till you figger things out:

Fold a bath towel in half length-wise. Lay a luggage strap across towel near one end. Roll towel up with luggage strap hanging out either end. Strap that puppy to seat at desired location for lumbar support.

Second option: Shop around for seat covers. Some come with built in lumbar support.

Or something like this. I have seen this for $29 at bed bath & B.
    I like the cool feature.

I would recommend you buy one at your local drugstore and try it out in the parking lot rather than order one online. I won one of these things in a Yankee gift exchange this year and discovered that it's straps aren't long enough to stretch all the way around the VX's seat (the side supports are just too wide).

I'm sure there's something out there that fits, but I don't think the manufacturers list "strap length" on the box so it's likely to be trial and error.

DK--- Your search is over!!! I found the ultimate source.

    Go to: www.AutoSportCatalog.com

Then once at the website, do a search for: LUMBAR
