this was actually the first clue I looked for, as I too thought it might have been some compensating feature.
Anyway, I'll do the checks and/or bring it up to the dealer at my next service. The car has about 24K miles now.
Thanks,

I'm new to this group. I have been having problems with my Vehicross stalling out when I try to start it on hot days, after driving for or awhile or in the evenings. There are also times when it rev up to 3,000 rpm after I do get it started. Does any on hav any ideas as to what the problem is here . I have had my vehicros at the dealer 4x and still they have not fixed the problem
Okay, I've been paying attention lately and noticed that the varying idle occurs after I turn the A/C off before I shut down when parking (I never start or stop any vehicle with the A/C on) and that the high idle happens when I start if parked on a slight incline (nose up). Any theories?

To all,
I cleaned the Idle intake valve with some gumout and I'm having the dealer install a new computer because of several wacky readings. I believe this will solve most of the 3,000 rpm idle jumps and the hard start on hot days.
