I would love to paint a room all black and hang a bunch of skulls up in it.

Bart,
How 'bout the interior of the falcon?
Some custom black leather seats with embossed/stitched white skulls would be sick.....

Actually, when I get to that point, I think I am going to keep it really simple, keeping with the 'spirit' of the Mad Max car. Some of the guys who have made replicas go for a RIDICULOUSLY exact movie car, but in my case I am going to do up the body like the movie car, but there will be a lot of little things that are not exact. Particularly in the interior of the car. I am going to install 2 new seats to my liking. My car will retain the XC dash, whereas the movie car had the XB dash with lots of little things attached for the movie, none of which mine will have in the end. As for other cosmetic details inside the car, there will be none. No head liner, no door skins, no carpet. I am going to Herculiner the floor boards and simply have the rest of the metal inside painted with the car. My long term goal will be to use the "gas tanks" in the back of the car as my audio system. One tank will house the sub box and the other will have some sort of door that contains all of the audio gear. Of course, this is all end product stuff that is just a thought in my head at this point. The whole project is gonna take several years to complete, which sucks. Right now I am working on the preliminary steps to getting the 2.8 in my Trooper swapped for a 3.4, all while trying to get my shop outfitted. As per usual, the only thing stopping me from balls-to-the-wall work on my projects is money.
