Yea I like the looks of your VX. Wish I could do that to mine, But would not get away with the offset in the wheels here in Pa.(Rules suck) The first mod. I want to do is get rid of the 18" wheels and go with 16" with more sidwall. Just like the look plus better ride.

Nice rid metalman! Beach pictures are best. Really like the carbon fiber insert too - is it a wrap?

    protons

Thanks! Yeah its wrap that I purchased from ebay. I wish there were more VX's out here in Hawaii, I think there are only 3 other ones on this island. Although, it does make it all more of a rarity and stand out.

Very nice looking Proton. I wasn't sure I would want a Proton but the more pictures I see of them the more I like the color. I have an 99 Astral Silver that I am in process of getting it back to a good looking vehicle.

This picture doesn't really do the tires justice. They have plenty of tread left on them, but I will probably be checking out some different, deeper tread tires for the winter. I am proud to say that I am the second owner of this VX. The original owner was pretty light on it and didn't do much to it. Unfortunately, that means maintenance as well. I replaced the front, rear, and t-case fluids right when I got it since they have never been replaced.

If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the t-case and diff services? I'm doing those soon and don't know how much it'll cost me. Yeah, the pic seemed to show no tread, but its just a pic.

It wasn't very expensive. Got it done at a Jiffy Lube for around $150. Or for half that cost you could just drain/refill yourself for just the cost of the SAE 80-90 oil, provided you know how to change your own engine oil and you have a drain bucket.

I wasn't in a position to be able to do these services myself, otherwise I would have saved some money. Jiffy Lube also replaced my serpentine belt for ~$80. I got the works done to it before I drove the 5 1/2 hours home.
