I'm going to 2nd that Sasquatch remark. Apparently the VX is THE go-to vehicle for us lanky, gangly fur-covered fools. An natural choice given our chosen habitat

George, Cary, & Roxie the English Bulldog..''99 silver #1897
Vin: #0764
Miles: 170,000
Me: NOT a Sasquatch, but am the 4th owner of this VX. The 2 previous owners were also members on this board. In fact, I just searched and emailed the guy who owned it before the person I purchased from. He confirmed some of the engine work I was told about and basically said great things about the truck. I love this site!
My other cars:
2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe (My garage queen)
2002 BMW 325CI Coupe (selling to make room for the VX)
#0140 - I've owned this VX for a year and some. I'm the 3rd owner, started with 124k. I had to replace a CV boot, fuel injector, and head gasket. After that drove her cross country with no problem.
Just hit 136k, just need brakes, new shocks and some minor body work on the front right fender.
year 1999 mileage 194,362 vin. 1307 bought it in early 2000 still turns me on when I turn it on!!!
i for one would love to see pics of a $1300 vx
1307 is the last four of the VIN, not the price.
thanks mav

I'm a new Astral owner. I was going to post a pic but I cannot figure out how. I feel like an idiot....
1999 VIN 0210
137k on the clock, but in amazing shape
Taking her up in to the mountains north of Silverthorne, Colorado this weekend! Dirt and mud incoming
Have a great weekend all!
(pics in the gallery, hopefully I'll have some naugh...err...dirty pics come Monday)
Edit: a few pics from the weekend...only a little bit of rugged trail to navigate to a hiking trailhead (Elliot Ridge), but the VX performed admirably, and the kids in the backseat christened it the "fun truck" with my 6 year old niece proclaiming that my VX "its like it is made to do this" as we crawled and bounced over the rocks and gulleys ;-) Sharp girl my niece.
At the trailhead
Roughing it at the cabin
One sharp looking ride
My dog Q glad to be able to roam the mountainside
