Cruise control on a JDM

JDM'ers out there ... anyone else have the stalk mounted switch and controls for cruise (before all you US guys jump on me, this is different from the dash mounted switch you have!!).

I have it and it looks really nice. Problem?? I can't work out how the damn thing works!!

Nope that is not it. I will photograph the thing and post it... I don't THINK it is a weird aftermarket accessory, all the stuff under the bonnet/hood is factory.

Mine has a slide switch on the top (set/resume) and a push button on the end. And the stalk is just for the cruise.

I was going to start up a thread about CC as my JDM doesn't have it but to now know it was an optional extra means there's a chance i can retro fit it ?

Anyone know if it has its own ECU ??
