    Hi folks,

My cruise control is factory (just decoded the options codes on the plate in the engine bay) ... runs to a unit on the front right of the engine bay which has the same part number on it as the 'cruise control management unit' listed as a part for the Holden Jackaroo/Frontera, Isuzu Mu/Bighorn/Wizard for at least 1999 (the only parts catalogue I have).

So it might be possible to grab a unit off one of those and fit it to a VX... I suspect that's a job for a pro, but then I'm kind of a coward with that sort of thing....

    Cheers

Crotchrocket - locate a cruise control from a Frontera with a V6 - remove the dash switch - the cruise ecu - and the motor from the engine bay - using some wiring diagrams you should be able to tap into the speed sensor and bobs your uncle - obviously brake switches are involved too
got the bits my self but haven't had time yet
    cheers
