What Brake Pads Fit The VehiCROSS, i.e. trooper??

After pulling my brakes apart this evening, the pads are shot on the front and rear.

As usual, the VX was never sold in the UK, so i need to know what model Isuzu to order the brakepads for? I would assume that its the trooper 2??

    Anyone know ?

We have the same front and rear brake pads as a '91+ Trooper, a 98+ Rodeo, Rodeo Sport, Amigo, Honda Passport, and a '02 Axiom. Just make sure you get ceramic pads, which I believe were stock. They're the ones that last 96-128K km (60-80K miles) and have no visible brake dust.

    My history with ceramic pads-
Rears replaced at 64K and 136K miles.
Fronts replaced at 80K and 159K miles.

The Isuzu part numbers for the brake pad kits are-
    Front- 8-97035-257-1
    Rear- 8-97035-266-0

Hi in the UK there plenty of genuine Isuzu pad sets on fleabay at the moment - you can use any of the following - trooper 97> , Frontera 98 > they are about the only UK versions that will fit
the genuine ones come with new anti rattle shims and grease - the vauxhall ones are after market unless you get the expensive ones
Oh yes and Monterey ones fit too
Best thing is to get in touch via pm or email - i'll let you have the full x ref
    cheers

Thanks as always steve!! I ended up getting some pads from Milner Offroad for the Trooper USB25 which seam to fit fine. No anti rattle shims but i just put the old ones on the new pads.

I forked out and did to this what I did to my last Yaris and fitted 3G grooved and dimpled discs (machined Brembos) all round and EBC Greenstuff pads for the Frontera.

It stops. Quickly. But it will be even better when I finally get braided lines fitted.

I was £350+ for them but they were money well spent.
