Question Any other times along the route?

Is there going to be other meet times set up along the route?
    i.e. Glenwood Springs? Grand Junction?

I may make it further than Denver on Sunday....

    We are in!

Looks like we are going to be lazy (not join Steve on his blitz across America) again this year, and meet up with you at the Denny's again. Then we can pick up the rest as we head West...

Kenny, the Denver group usually drives through and stops off to pick me up in Glenwood Springs. The drive from Denver to Glenwood is three to three and a half hours so if they leave at 8:30 they should be in Glenwood around noon.

Gill, will you guys be bringing any of the other VXers with you? Orion?

Nothing I haven't done seven or so times before...the Great Plains aren't interesting enough to look at for two days...

    Have fun with the convoy.

All right, I'm in. I'll be doing a repeat of last year. Gill, I'm assuming you are stopping in Omaha saturday night.
    Why?..... because stock sucks.

K, we're going to be a little different, Since we're leaving from the Springs (We have an appointment early am) We'll meet up with you all in Grand Junction. We're going to head across on 24 to Buena Vista then hit Hwy50 out.

Jack, I saw in the Moab thread that you where going to try and make it to Todd's Offroad 101 class at noon. I would love to make the "class" too, but you guys would have to leave Denver at 5am and blow straight through to Moab to make it by noon. I could do that, but I have a feeling that we would be leaving a lot of others behind. I think I'm going to stick to the original schedule for the convoy.

I know Gill and CeCe want to get to Moab as soon as possible so we can make our stops as short as possible. You guys can just pull off in Glenwood Springs to pick me up. We will have to do a little coordination because Mr. and Mrs. Moncha are supposed to meet us there, and I think Zeus is joining us along the way somewhere. Then we can make a quick stop in Grand Junction at the Beer Barn to stock up on adult beverages, maybe grab some food real quick (fast food to eat in the car?) and boogie on to Moab.

That's the plan Stan. I'll wait for others to chime in and we can start nailing down meeting times.

ya i actually have to go back and correct that... i for some reason was thinking that we were gonna make it there by then, i sat down and did some math last night and there is no way...

stay on the original schedule...sorry for the confusion mark

and for anyone in the convoy, heres my number, feel free to call me for time coordination...

Looks like we won't have Gill and Cece with us, so you guys don't need to wait for them on Monday morning. I'll be looking for you guys in Glenwood around noon, but someone give me a call (970-729-0628) as you pass through Vail so I'll know when to get down there.

What CB channel will you guys be using?

Can't wait to see everyone again.

Cece & I will be waiting for you in Moab. Can't wait to see all of you again, and can't wait to see all the VXes rolling into town!

Yup, that's the plan. We can meet up there and then head to Denver together. I'd like to leave Denver early (7 or 8 AM?), which would put us in Moab by 2PM. Cece & I don't want to miss out on all of Monday. The earlier we get in the more time we have with Merlin. Plus, Cece's mom is going to meet her in Moab and that would mean more time with the fam. I would rather get up early Monday morning than get into Moab at the end of a good day. What's the point of a road trip if you don't drive, drive, drive?
