2009 Isuzu meet at Uwharrie, NC, pics, videos...

Here are a few pics and videos...the other thread was getting very few hits, I guess my title didn't get the job done like I thought it would. There were some bad Isuzus there, I kept up with them, but I was humpin...especially Joe Ds SAS Rodeo and there was a SAS Passport rollin on 38s. Those guys made it look real easy. Smiley was there with his Astral, but it was having technical difficulties. He had somethin in his tank and was stalling out at higher RPMs. I did find out that all the things wrong in mine, are common to the VXes. The passenger dash vent, pops up on his too, the thunk when shifting the transmission into drive, and so on...

Very cool pics and vids! Looks like you had some fun. Why’s your VX on a trailer?

Grave Digger doesn't drive to the Monster Truck events, why should my VX? Plus, I am not sitting in that thing for 5 hours, don't know how you other guys do it, my Expy is far more comfortable

I made my hat, kind of...I was at a hunting/fishing expo in Charleston, found an offshore fishing booth with a marlin hat. thought it would be perfect for Moab. They asked if it I wanted it embroidered for free!!! You bet your ***. 26 dollars, 15 minutes of playin on a laptop= one of a kind VX hat. Figured it will help identify me...not that my VX needs help, I am pretty sure it stands out enough. I have the info for the company, I could see about other hats, but would probably be cheaper for you to go to any fleamarket or seamstress to get one made. I think it is a good idea, make it related to your screen name, like a "HI, MY NAME IS __________" name tag.

    I love my VX!!!!!!!!

Try 12 hours straight back from Moab! But I find the VX quite comfortable actually.

Yeah, my Xterra used to give me hella lumbar pain after a few hours, with the Recaros, it's all good. Being all black with an all black interior in the mid 90s through the desert doesn't help comfort so much however.

Let me look into it. Perhaps I can do thread color per VX color? Like I said, you should be ale to go to any fleamarket, seamstress, sport shop, anywhere that does ebroidery. I would be willing to work a group buy if I can.

A few more pics, the SAS rodeo is one of Joe Darlingtons many Isuzus. He brought two for the trip, just in case...must be nice. The pup is a sleeper. He is locked front and rear with ARB air lockers...sleeper, I had no idea after being behind him for 4 hours, until we came to the rock garden, he didn't even have to look.

As far as riding in the VX, I hate leather, its hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Wet Okole is much more comfortable. My Expy is like an RV compared to the VX. But they both have a special place in my heart...I love both my kids.
