    Where's the very unique VX

    Hi guys !

Yesterday morning whilst i were installing the rear panels back after a whole year picking up dust in my balcony i saw this nice toyota highlander driving by in this nice kind of pearl white color & instantly this thought came to my mind......WHERE IS THE ONLY VX PAINTED IN PEARL WHITE COLOR according to isuzu's VX production records ?

Was this unique VX ever owned by a VX.INFO member in the past. ? Is this very unique VX wrecked & lost for ever ?

Any one knows or have any idea of where is possibly this VX located ?

    Let's talk about it guys
    Dakar was just the begining.

Im pretty sureit is still at the Isuzu museum. Look for the thread and photo album from when a group from here went to the Isuzu museum and saw the prototypes for the convertable VX and the 4 door VX: a piece of the pearl white can be seen in the background.

The owner was and still might be "rollingmoss" from Longmont, Colorado

    vin# 1455

He's been and member since 7-23-03 and last activity here was on 8-10-07

It was a special order paint for a customer then it sat at Isuzu America Cerritos garage, then rollingmoss purchased it..

    Isuzu museum

    So there's still a zuzo museum ?

Since isuzu is gone probably there's no museum any more & pearl white is up for sale ?

I'll love to get my hands on that VX :_drool:

As far as we know it's always been in Colorado. It might still be there today.

I believe the basement garage of Isuzu US HQ in Cerritos, CA was known as the "museum". I don't know if it ever spent any time there. The pearl white VX went to Denver Isuzu and was bought by rollingmoss.

Here you can see the garage doors that lead to the "museum/vault" -

    Who ya gonna trust?

If it was at the Peterson Museum it would have been mentioned in that thread and there woulda been a photo taken. There was only the VX convertible and VX four-door there.

Here's a thread with a rare post by rollingmoss himself-
    http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?p=104202

If someone wants it bad enough they can get a car report, track down the current owner, and make 'em an offer they can't refuse!

After searching here, it was indeed held at Isuzu HQ in Cerritos in '01 before being sent out to a dealer. Our gang saw it there at the first big LA meet in August 2001.
Apparently, it's at least partially seen in the 8/01 LA meet gallery-

Or try calling the Harley dealership mentioned in his post and ask to speak to him directly...

"Hi guy I've never met, this is some random dude from the Internet who is obsessed with you enough to stalk you down to your place of work. What say we get together in an abandoned parking lot somewhere to take pictures? I'll bring the rabbit, lotion, and garden hose in the back of my van and see you there!"

In all seriousness, I bet that guy could fetch twice resale on his VX today, let alone in 10 or 15 years if it's still running. Have to remember to set up an AutoTrader alert with his VIN just in case...

Its Peterson Museum...and they have the VX02 "Topless" concept

...and the 4 door concept (That should of been built IMO!)

Boy do I agree....as much attention as the VX garners to this day imagine a "practical" version created for the masses....I'll bet some of the members here would've owned a 2-door plus a 4-door

I didn't saying it was in the museum. Just clarifying to Gussie 2000
