Sitting here in my Office in central London these pictures are the stuff dreams are made of! You lucky buggers!!!! I just want to get out of here now, jump in my VX and find a place to go and play!
The weather you guys have there is awesome but seeing the pictures of the VX going through a snowy mountainouse pass reminds me just how big your country is.
Congratulations guys on what looked like an amazing adventure!! !
Speed Thrills, Boredom Kills!!
Hey crotchrocket, if they ever build that idiotic bridge across the Bering Straight they are talking about, you could drive to Moab! :bwgr: Wonder how many miles that little trip would be...
I am totally in awe. I have looked and looked at the pics and I don't get tired of looking. Maybe next year. Also great to put faces with names. Thanks everyone for taking the time to post the pics for the rest of the family. Makes me wanna start my mods now.lol
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
and this voice came back and said..
"He's not in, may we take a message?"
Well, I just killed a good hour here looking at all these incredible pics. Gawd, I can't believe I missed out this year. These pics are killin me!!!!
CeCe: You took some stellar shots, especially that awesome Menace portrait and that shot of Steve's RS haulin' arse is just wicked!!!
Kenny: Your Bryce Canyon shots are amazing. I have yet to get there and next time I go to Moab I will definitely detour through that area.
Gill: New rims, eh?
The rest of the photos are just amazing as well and like I said, it just kills me to have missed out this year....ARRRGGGG! Someone needs to do a "carnage" post with shots of all the damage.
Bart
As far as I know the "carnage" was minimal this year. Gizmo broke a shock on his Rodeo, Mike blew a clutch (probably a bad clutch to start with) on his Trooper and then Gil had issues with his exhaust (backed into a rock) which caused a CEL and rough idle and took a rock to his rocker panel that mis-aligned his door.

Notice the strap is slack, so it doesn't count as a picture of someone getting strapped
I believe this is the line Billy mentioned getting strapped on ...

Can't say much more than what has already been said. Being in Moab is the best. Seeing all the VXers and other Isuzu fanatics ROCKS! The scenery is amazing. It blows my mind every year I go. Even with the "carnage" I wouldn't want to miss a single year. Scott Harness made a comment about the VXes getting thrashed, and I would have to agree with him. I would rather do easier trails, than beat up my baby. Don't be surprised if we show up with a tricked out AxirooperodeomigoCROSS in the coming years. Thanks to all the spotters, wrenchers, trail leaders and tailgunners. Cece and I are going to go out and wash my VX. We will take some pictures of the trail trophies. The exhaust was fixed in Denver, but is still not 100%. So maybe we will have to get 2 new exhaust systems . One for him and one for her! I think the Chicago rust played a key role in the failure of the exhaust flange and bracket. Be thankful if you're not in the rust belt.
Miss Moab already... Hey Harness and Dub, when does the commune open?
Is there any other kind of Jeep?
