    Braided Exhaust Coupler

I've tried a couple searches and struck out. I'm trying to find out what folks do about the braided exhaust coupler that's located under the driver side. Mine is torn up and I assume leaking. When looking for a VX I'd noticed the couple I looked at were also torn so, I assume this is a common failure.

What does everyone do about this? Is it a stock part that can be replaced or just a generic thing any muffler shop can handle?

any muffler shop should be able to handle it.. its just called a flex pipe

mine is all kinds of torn up and looks like it should be leaking like crazy, but i had it up on a lift yesterday and sprayed some smoke in the area..no leaks at all, so just double check first

It's no big deal. It's expected to rust and fail just like the muffler. I had mine done along with the muffler at a shop last year. It can also be done fairly easily
in a driveway. Any parts store should have a 2" flex pipe in stock.

Mine too, had the flex, flowmaster 40 put on and some other pipe replaced for about 200 bucks at meineke.
