This thread has been a lot of fun and brought back a lot of memories. I'd probably remember more from my yoof, but... well... the city used to have trucks drive through my neighborhood and they sprayed out a chemical fog to get rid of mosquitoes. We kids used to think that was pretty amazing so we ran after them in the summer twilight. Running through fog, laughing, jumping playing. Then the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it.
Wait... what? Maybe those last few sentences were from the movie Airplane II, I can't be sure due to the chemicals.
My sister - only 5 years older than me - still calls the TV remote control "the clicker" (I laugh, but I do remember when they actually clicked.)
I went to a Joan Jett concert and was in the front row. She looked me dead in the eye and winked at me. ME... PERSONALLY! I still get tingly whenever I think of that.

In high school, I chose to have my Vo-Tech classes in the afternoon because that would be the first time I spent time in a classroom that had air conditioning. No biggie except it only hit 100+ degrees here EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL YEAR SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!!!
I was sitting in front of a TV the first time MTV went live. It was weird, they played music way back then.
