Yes, the Suzuki X-90 is a true 4x4 with a Hi/Lo range X-fer case. They were available in manual or automatic. The X-90 is just as rare as the VX, and was made only 3 years 1996, 1997, 1998 (just like the VX was made only 3 years). The 1998 X-90 (USA Model) had a production of only 412 units!!!

When my little econo-box commuter car dies, I'm buying a 1998 Suzuki X-90. I almost bought an X-90 last month, but was a day late answering the ad. With traditional four wheel drive (2x4/4x4 Hi/Lo X-fer case), they will go anywhere, and get almost 30 MPG!!!

There's one for sale on a garage lot down the street for me. Have to inquire within about a price, but I'm betting it's less than $500.

    NICE!!

I honestly didn't know it had the low range box... That's crazy... I've always been a fan of the X90, I bet 250 of them were purchased by redbull for promo cars

They pop up often around here.

I have always loved Suzukis, and really wish they would bring the jimmy here The first time I saw a Jimmy was in Costa Rica, and my jaw literally dropped...

Thanks for all the input. Lots of good stuff here, despite getting away from my criteria a little bit. If I get really bored again today, I will do a proper update...

    Cool

I think the 1rst generation of KIA sportage may fit the bill along with the hyundai tucson even though both are four-doors.
Was the jeep cherokee sport aldeary included on the list
    Dakar was just the begining.

Although I have my personal reservations about its clasification honda has the "element" in the SUV category

Yeah, whole point of this thread, is

    No 4-doors
    No Pick-ups
    No 4x4 "cars"
And another criteria I should have added, is no concepts, because imo, they count about as much as a Hot Wheels toy.

And the SWB issue could be clarified with exact measurements, but that would be too much work. I think the Bronco II I last posted is pushing the limits there....I was thinking about the Jeep Liberty, but they I remembered it is a 4-door so it doesn't count.

    Well, excuuuuuse me....

The Wagoneer came in Two door. As did the Kia Sportage.

As for the wheelbase the Grand that Cari drives is not that much bigger but yes its a four door but they did/do? make the square body style in 2 door.
