Another Midwest Meet!

I couldn't make it until Sept. 20th. Working weekends... . If we are going to be having a meet farther South, I may just have to take some time off to meet all those that haven't been able to make it up North. I'll keep looking at this thread to see how it goes.

ya date is not set, whenever more people can come. So most likely it will be in September, how does that sound Southern illinois people and Indiana people, Iowa, missouri???

I am still figuring it out, probably central or southern illinois, i dont know yet, there doesnt seem to be much interest so far. But like i said date is not set, actually nothing is set haha this is just to see how much interest there is so that i we can all plan it out to what works best for us.

It would always be a possibility for me. I guess it would just depend on how far south in IL people would be willing to drive. It's about 350 miles to Chicago for me, and unless I'm mistaken , it'd be pretty much the same distance for you Chicagoans/northerners to drive this way too , so it'd be understandable if driving that far was asking a bit much for even a VX mini-meet.

I've driven up to Effingham, IL in the past for one-day car shows, but I'm not even sure if that would be half-way for all of us. If there are any Corvette enthusiasts here though, one possibility for something to do besides check out all the VX's would be to see all the Vette's in town for the 2009 Vette Funfest in September (25th-27th).

It's an option that wouldn't require one group to make up most of the distance anyway.
