MY VX Off Road At An Old Quarry

Went off roading in an old quarry today, had a great time. Can't believe what the VX will get up, its amazing. It has so much traction and a put a few landrovers to shame!!!! I sh*t my self a few times today, lol but over all enjoyed the Quary. We also did a 'punch hunt' where you have a card attached to your passanger side and there are stamps hidden around the site. You have to menouver your truck up the the stanp and stamp your card, a good laugh, especially the tricky ones half way up a 45 degree slope with an axle twister, lol

I still havent taken my Vx through any type of mud or so yet only round the coast 3 times which is gravel Tho i will soon

Awesome pics as usual Crotchrocket. I was wondering, during you're youth did your mum never let you go out when it was raining so you wouldn't get dirty? That would explain your aversion to getting muddy. I for one will be waiting for the pics of the car wash. LOL

lol, na...i used to play in the mud then too!!!

I have to wash it myself this time as the Mrs didn't come which is a bit unfortunate, especially as i tried to do it last night and my jet wash lance split !!!! Trying to get the Mrs to get me a replacement today so i can do it this evening!

I guess that many 4x4 owners you meets haven't seen a VX. I also guess that are prejudice until you show them that its a wolf in sheep clothing and very capable. Do you often get comments of surprize?

Yep all the time, you get the 'thats not a real 4x4' then you cream a discovery and their jaws drop!!!
