Yeah, between this and the scary amount of details you and RamAirZ know about cars (just read the entire "manual transfer case swap" thread WoW), you're both a really great addition to the active forum. (I know there are many others like you two, but I just read that thread, so I mentioned them, no offense to anybody).

Can see a time will come when we pay to fly you guys to our location to fix our VXs!

p.s.... got 1st hubby a pocket protector as a gag gift cuz he was super brainiac computer dude...I thought it was hilarious....uhmm, him.... not so much......

Ashley, are you saying you'd like a pocket protector? I know where to get one...

Lol I'm the farthest thing from a mechanic, you definitely don't want me working on your car. Like Morgan Freeman's character in Shawshank Redemption, I'm just "a man who knows how to get things" - be that parts or information or both.

    It's mine already...

I'll pick it up from Biju next week.

He said to tell everyone "Hello".

I'll add it to my search list. Fair warning though, like most things endeavors in life, finding obscure stuff is 10% smarts and 90% persistence. Don't expect anything overnight.

    Talking

This may be one of the most moronic ebay listings ever...

A USED McGaard wheel lock key.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/98-02-Isuzu-Troo...item2a06ea3b0e

Wonder what the chances would be of it actually being the same pattern, just by chance, as that which is needed by the person who bought it...

    For $35.- it's worth a shot...right?...

Hey, it says 100% guaranteed, so maybe it's a "magic" key...

OK, I'm curious...what is this? It's listed under diagnostic automotive tools.

If that is what I think it is, they were almost 2K for a new one. They allow to adjust all the solenoids, various electronic adjustments and so on. I had a lead on one here when the Zu dealership closed, but the head Zu mechanic disappeared.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Sounds like somebody should scoop this up... might make a ScanGauge look like an 8-track.

Don't know if I posted this already, I believe his ad has been out there for awhile, but it looks like he just reposted. A random assortment of parts available in Detroit:

Don't know if anybody just can't live without a Thule Xpedition cargo basket AND has unlimited fund$, but here's 2 in the UK, and they appear to ship to the U.S. (One's the larger, one smaller)
