I wonder how high the reserve is? I would consider going to PA on a weekend with my trailer....It is 730 miles from me, so about 300 in gas plus 150 in misc hotel and whatnot. But with the reserve being anything more than 500, I can't see that being worth my time. Cladding pieces may bring about 700 bucks total, roof rack-200, headlight-75, side view mirror-75, misc trim/seats/ and so on inside-700. Lot of miles, so under hood stuff probably not worth a whole lot, grill looks ok, rear end is probably ok, so I would guess somewhere around $2K in parts, pending the condition of the drive train...My wife is giving me that look right now...uh oh, gotta go....

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Looks like one of the headlights is probably good (would need scratches cleaned up though) and the roof rack is still there, plus it's possible that some of the rear and opposite side panels/cladding might be intact.

If you have the ability to take it apart and store the salvaged parts ...
    ...it could be a bargain.

I'd value it at about $800 -$1000 where it sits...

..and maybe $1200-$1500 after pick up and tow home.

Undamaged Glass / rear door / roof rack / undamaged cladding / undamaged panels..

    ..are EASILY worth that alone.

(BTW..I already asked seller if R/Rack was 4 sale ..NOPE!...all or nothing!)

    Impressive VX Auction

7 days left and already 28 bids pushing price over $10K... will be very interesting to watch considering it will likely give us an idea of the max price one can expect when they sell their VX. Plus this ad is simply amazing for amount of detail - this should be the template for all other car ads on eBay.

    Nice Dragon Auction

Nice Dragon for sale, but some interesting oddities... oversize tires look great (would be nice to know exact size though) but looks like the TB crank needs rear springs to match. Engine bay looks immaculate. Paint looks to be in great condition. But wtf is this? Looks like they just have the underside of the front cladding painted? Poor man's VXC/rowhard faux skidplate?

I agree with that concept, but shipping is so expensive, that it makes it very difficult to turn a buck. it cost me almost 200 just to ship the front cladding I sold a month ago. If you don't have a business account, shipping gets crazy expensive, they are still charging a fuel surcharge, even though gas is cheap....

I can't say enough great things about Greyhound shipping. I shipped a hood insert from Ohio to California for $50. I dropped it off on Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati and it was available for pickup on Monday morning in San Diego.

The only catch is, you have to drop off and pick up from a greyhound station. Its really easy though, its a whole separate area than the bus terminal.

I have also used them to ship a bumper from Ohio to Florida for less than $100.

Hmmm, I just checked it out, there are restrictions, the bumper would have just fit...and can't be over 100lbs, that eliminates tranny, maybe rear axle? Rear door is too big, but most other stuff would be fine...Sweet!!!
    Thanks for the heads up.

I've posted about this before, but I second that JAMAS!!! Greyhound's shipping prices are unbeatable! I shipped my backseat to Osteomata Phoenix to Miami, weighed 65 lbs, cost $73. I bought a "large wardrobe box" from U-Haul for $12, plus some nylon reinforced tape and she was good to go! Os said it arrived in fine condition, took maybe 4-5 days. Both UPS & FedEx Ground were around $235+. Savings was well worth the hassle of drop off/pick up at a Greyhound terminal.

If you are looking for all those little pieces...shipping is ridiculous though...but a good deal overall I would think.
