My OEMs were silver-toned metal...these look gold/bronze?? Same???

Also, note that two are NOT expanded....on mine, 2 were like that and they were blown.

Same-same...I think the color variation is dependent upon what elemental conditions they've been exposed to over the last decade.

And I agree, the two rears in the pic have lost their nitrogen charge at the very least...

Grab bag of random VX parts

Starting bid of $20 buys a pretty random assortment of VX parts:

    Funny VX Ad

English may not be his first language... or third for that matter. Read it like Boris and Natasha from "Rocky and Bullwinkle" and you'll get a laugh.

Also interesting that the owner seems to have swapped out the 18" rims for 16's.

Think I saw this mentioned in another thread, but in case you haven't seen it already, there are a ton of parts on eBay right now that were pulled off a no doubt very rare Ironman Edition FoxFire. Nonetheless, there are a significant number of body parts for sale, so if you're in the market, this might be a good chance.

    Cheap Foxfire in Western MD

Hard to tell exact condition of the body from the pictures, but it looks like the lesser price is probably only due to miles. $5500 for 123K Foxfire. Methinks not a bad deal for somebody who wants the best color made.

Btw, not to pick on you NY/NJ/PA guys too much, but craigslist is just about worthless in your areas. I don't know how many tint, wheel, car wash, and headlight cleaning ads I've had to weed through to find real content. You would think craigslist would block ads with more than 200 keywords in the description (these guys literally paste the make and model of every vehicle ever made into their ads to ensure they pop up in your search).

    What d1cks.

I'm going to bid on this assortment of parts to win it tonight and then sell the odds & ends (mdwyer & solitude want some of the stuff so we're not going to be biding against each other). I just want the 2 panels, ashtray, shift knob -(maybe). Let me know if anybody else wants some of this stuff. I'll sell it cheap based on my winning bid amount.

    Are absolutely right

It's annoying to read thru all those ads.
