the same accident but different sides of the car

Vehicle has a salvage title, but dealership claims it's only due to a theft despite the fact that the history report indicates significant body damage. If you look closely at the pictures there are also some tell-tale signs of body damage, most notably that the driver's door doesn't meet the fender panel correctly. Plus the steering wheel is in BAD shape, there are creases on the center armrest, the engine bay looks like it just finished a Dakar rally (or was driven in a sandstorm), the mats are filthy, the trunk area looks dirty also, the Isuzu labels are missing off the rims, there are significant scratches on the driver's side door, something weird just below the Ironman pillar badges, the sidewalls of the tires are cracking, and to nit pick, they didn't bother to clean the bird-*** off the spoiler or spell check the ad.
And the starting bid is $5,500. I can't imagine why this dealership even bought it to resell.
Duplicating post from Thule 696 thread here...
Used 696 on Craigslist in LA...

Doesn't say anything about "longer than stock" for lifted applications, but probably OK for street apps.

... may I suggest the following:

ROFLMAO.
This is really confusing.......
Same ebay seller "rapidjoe". We determined the 1999 VIN #1439 belonged to forum member -x- from FLA. Said brother in IL was selling it.
1/31/10- 1999 - $5,002 Reserve NOT met in 16 bids:
VIN: JACCN57X0X7991439
Miles: 169,350
Timing belt changed at 120,000 miles
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...T#ht_500wt_931
3/9/10....1999 - winning bid $4,350 in 29 bids, if there was a reserve, it apparently was met:
VIN: JACCN57X0X7991439
Miles: 171,000
Timing belt changed at 120,000 miles
and NOW lists A REMANUFACTURED TRANSMISSION 2/15/10.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...T#ht_558wt_916.
4/1/10- 2001 2001 - listed for $7,500 after what appears to be putting on some of -x-'s mods back on like wheels
VIN #JACCN57X617D00876
Timing belt changed at 95,000 miles
Miles: 134,000
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Isuzu...9#ht_500wt_931
So it's confusing...... but maybe the seller took the goodies from -x-'s 1999 and put them on a 2001 Ebony and is selling that now?? Curious....
I gotta way too much time on my hands apparently....
easy way to tell the REAL VX of -x- .... it has no door handles
The latest flier from Harbor Freight has a nice set of Aluminium jackstands for $29.99 with a coupon...

Just picked up a pair to go in my "pit trailer" that I'm putting together to trailer my big boy tires to Moab...
Should look just about like this when done...

It's called Shaved Door Handles...works the same way as the popper for our rear door.
If you want to add that to your mods you can make it happen with these:

It's very popular with the Tuner crowd and those who like the Lambo door look (where the door swings up from the front hinge).
Live, Love, Forgive and Never Give Up
A) Lambo/Scissor door was my first guess, but since it wasn't mentioned in the listing....and I know they're a couple thousand large!
B) This mod isn't for me anyway, rather have the Hella Micro DE Xenons if I was inclined to spend some coin!
C) I'm definitely not a tuner (although I did have a rice rocket...'84 CRX)....lived in L.A. for 15 yrs '82-'97 so had more than my full share of that.......and I won't be adding LED undercarriage lights any time soon...
