    MPG

So come on, own up! What kind of MPG is everyone getting? The reason I ask is I have a Scangauge II and it's telling me I'm getting an average of 13-14mpg

I am running big rubber and a heavy right foot, but even so!!!! She runs sweet and I'd be surprised if anything is wrong, but what do you think?

13 in the city is what I get. I'll take any suggestions to improve that! IIRC these things were rated at 15mpg city when they were new. 10 years later I guess that number could drop a little.

I get about 16-17 in mixed city and highway driving, that's about 330 miles on a tankful. Keep in mind I have only recently managed to get my CEL turned off (it's been on for a couple of years!) so I am hopeful that my mileage might go up a notch.

Just filled up this morning. Taking an 11% odo error into account for tire size, I averaged 12mpg on my last tank, all in town driving.

I usually average 15-17 on the open road.

    9999, according to my ScanGauge.

Been sitting in my garage for a few weeks and only gets started on weekends to knock the cobwebs out. She is going through some "reconstruction", of sorts atm.

Typically, about 10-12mpg. My weekend spirited toy.

You have to expect some downside for driving one of the coolest vehicles ever made

15.5 running 32's and a lift...this is not counting the 10% difference so really about 17 overall.

Are you still using acetone? Haven't heard anything about it for a while.

Not for about the last six months...I peaked at about 2.5-3 extra non adjusted miles per gallon and it has been mildly slipping since. I just picked up another quart to start again. I wanted to wait a while and see things slip and just give it a break to check everything out. All good so far.

    48? No, that's the Yaris...

15 to 19 imperial seems about right. That's way more than I used to get before I sorted out some of the dpo's wiring and lack of servicing. Mine pushes to the higher end of that when green laning as its mostly idling and trundling along.

Tyres make a BIG difference and so does having any stuff hanging off the car (like my roof tray).

I got a whopping great 17mpg average over 50-odd miles acting as support vehicle for Bob the Beetle today.

Remember that's with chunky Coopers with roof tray and Wipacs acting as air brakes.
