But I've been a Centerline fan for years, well to be truthful, decades...

    20" x 8"....26 lbs...Forged, strong, & shiny...
    (18" x 8"...22 lbs)

But only for those who enjoy polishing aluminium...

Just picked up my Rota 18x8.5 rims for my STi yesterday.... supposed to weigh in at 19lbs a piece. Man.... beaitiful wheel and only if I could get the same w/finish for my VX.

I cant imagine what my current VX wheels (Enkei 18x8.5 et0) weigh in at, especially since they were 2 toned bronzed, which I am sure added a tad more weight.

My Nitto Terra Graps were (are) heavy as hell. 285/60-18. I remember lugging those to the shop when I had the Yokos swapped. Thought I felt steep pains in my left shoulder for a bit there. I am currently considering a smaller/lighter wheel-tire package on the VX. Still throwing that one around....

Speaking of the pic I posted of the Grids I bought, Rota offers a Grid "Offroad" that is almost exactly the same, that comes in a 15 and 16" I believe. I looked into them a while back but wasnt too keen on the couple of finishes they offer. Great looking wheel and I would love to have the EXACT same size and finish on my VX that I have with my STi, heh.

I was on the topic of tires with some buddies last night and we got to talking about lightweight street tires. Something i did not know was that the lighter the tire, the more porous the rubber compound. This is great for traction at high temps, though it breaks down faster, but in cooler temps, the tires slowly lose air and can even take on and soak up water. Perhaps lighter isnt godo for ALL needs, heh. Anyways, unsure of the validity of that comment, but it was interesting nevertheless and seems to make sense. *shrug*

    LOL...oh OW...

Oh Mr. MON-CHA...Don's pickin' on me again......

Maybe this'll clear things up a bit...

To me, it represents the ever present spectre of death, always lurking just behind the gossamer fabric that we perceive as reality.
I'd love to see it with little cartoon baloons over the heads of the three people...the middle dude would be like: "OH CRAP!, not THIS again."
The dude on the right would be saying: "Dammit Beavis, get your foot off my sword before I kick your arse."
The one on the left?..."Hey look...I'm side scrolling!"

    Sorry for the T-J...LIGHTER TIRES!
