I'm very sorry for ya Crotch, luv for the Bobbies to catch the buggers. At least I'm glad they didn't mess up the VX..
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
and this voice came back and said..
"He's not in, may we take a message?"

WTF is with that? They did the same thing when they broke into my Subaru. They took the stereo (that sucked, anyway), left the remote for it, and popped the trunk from the driver's seat. I didn't discover that my emergency bag was gone until I finally drove off and discovered the trunk unlatched. Lost a map book, blanket, first aid kit, extinguisher, tow strap, and jumper cables.

Gawd, that sucked. I am soo sorry. I have literal nightmares about someone stealing my VX. That might be why it doesn't get out of the garage much anymore.

Cheers for the support guys. Well the guy came and fitted the alarm today and it started off with an arguement as he tried to charge me an extra 65 quid to wire in a boot sensor!!! Pretty much asked him to piss off but he had 200 quid of my money and wouldnt sell me the alarm on its own, i begrudgingly told him to fit it and i mounted a sensor in the boot and ran him a wire myself. He told be the blackjaxx function on the alarm was an extra module that i could by seperately which i have since found out is part of the system but he was too lazy to wire the alarm into the tacho and brake light, also he didnt set up the proximity sensor so i down loaded some instructions and did it my self. So for what eventually ended up costing 527.50 i am not at all happy, but the VX is safe at least. I mean what a lazy cowboy cock

    That sucks.

I don't even lock my Trooper, I just try to make sure there is nothing worth stealing in there...which is easier to do since it isn't my daily driver. I also don't wash it so there is no shiny bling factor to attract thieves, but I know that's not an option for you VX guys...

X2, I just leave the Trooper wide open and empty. My VX lives in the garage now, where she belongs.

    Sorry about your VX.
I always hope that some day those punks will have the same done to them.
If they are found, put them in jail for a few months or more.

    Guess what.............................

Got home just now after a few Vedett's (you'll have to look in the beer thread ) with Claire in Notting Hill and all my recovery gear was sat in my flat on the floor, the police brought it round whilst i was out

theres an old Bomb shelter at the end of our garden in a very rare bit of waste london woodland that police found people living in yesterday!!! they had a good search of the area and foundsome of my stuff!!

i must say the police have been here most days since stuff started to go down around here and they've been great. I owe them some tea and a biscuit next time they come over.....or a pint

yeah, how messed up is that!!! Its a few meters beyond our boundry but the landlord has been refusing to put up a fence. Needles to say the police have now demanded they landlord seals the bomb shelter and erects a fence!
