    The HeadBlade VX still lives!

The old guard here will remember Todd and his Proton VX he used to advertise his HeadBlade company, back in the day. Apparently, the latest version of the HeadBlade VX was spotted in Santa Monica, CA in June '09. I don't think the HeadBlade VX has been mentioned in a long time here.

An older version of his VX-

Todd, if that's yours, thanks for keeping your VX all that time. The HeadBlade is now a worldwide phenomenon thanks to an Isuzu Vehicross!

    Go HeadBlade!!! www.headblade.com

I don't need one, but I've heard good things.

Here's Todd on CNBC telling his story. Yes, his VX is seen briefly in the vid.

Todd, ya done good and we're proud of ya here at vx.info.

Check out the beginning of this HeadBlade vid-

I met him here in Austin back in 02 or 03? Very nice down to earth guy!

Nice to hear he's still got his VX. I am still using HeadBlade, by far the best way to shave the head I've found.

I don't think he's a member here. I can't remember if it was suv.com or Club VMag that he first posted a picture of his HeadBlade VX. At that time I think he just had www.headblade.com in big letters on the upper part of the side door cladding.

I think he's been busy making his fortune since then.

He is either a member here or on the old board, can't remember which. He had aquired a large batch of Tamayo VX models that he gave out as promotional items. He had a bunch left over so he sent them out to any VXers that wanted one for free! Mine is still in the box waiting to be built.

Has everyone noticed that we have a new member from Santa Monica, CA that goes by the name of HeadBlade?

A big welcome to you Todd. It's been a long time. How many miles on your VX now? Is that still your daily driver after all your success? Do you have a photo of the original version of the HeadBlade VX?

Welcome and we hope to hear from you soon.

Hey...thanks! Great to be here again! I got a news "alert" on Google with the above thread. Happy to know there are others still loving their cars.

I still have the VX and park it at the Pier in Santa Monica. Actually just took it in for a complete new paint and graphics job. Will post picks when it's done.

I have another car...a Lotus Elise which has the color/graphic scheme as well. I switch up which car I drive...mostly depending on weather and/or if I need the extra space. I'll post some pics. One which you all will LOVE. I'll post now in the gallery.

    Thanks!

    Todd

Great photos, Todd! It's good to hear from you again. That's how I remember the original from suv.com with your URL on the door cladding. I can't wait to see the latest version of the HeadBlade VX.

You're not gonna believe this, but we had a member here from FL who had a Proton VX and a yellow Elise. His handle was transio and he sold the VX and disappeared a few years ago.

Nice. Yeah...the two make a great duo...so I'm not SO surprised someone else has both (great minds think alike!). The VX is, IMHO, the first Sport Activity Vehicle. The Lotus is like it's street racing twin. It would be cool to have matching wheels.

Not sure if you got it or if this was just coincidence, but I am the guy that sent you an e-mail from your website's contact page.

Glad to see you made it onto the forum.
