Those tires are "clones" of the lightweight Yokohama - Geolandar M/T Plus in LT265/75R16 (32" O.D./47.5 lbs) and are bolt-on perfect on a non-lifted VX if used with the 1999 stock OEM 16x7 rims.

I've seen that same exact front big-tube bull bumper from a fellow VX'er here in our Photo Gallery. He also had a matching big-tube rear chrome bumper, and matching big-tube chrome nerf bars on his VX (totally all bling'ed out), but now I can't recall the member's handle.

The Hood Scoop looks more like the "Roach Motel" for Rats and other various rodents.

It's a shame that lightbar is so flimsy, it looks better on the VX than it ever did on a liberty.

Wonder if you could find hela or piaas that would fit the light brackets and then reinforce it a bit. The shape of it really looks good on the VX.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe you could use a couple mighty mounts to secure it to the front rack bar? My main concern would be preventing it from flying off at speed (it mounts with body kit double stick tape doesn't it?) so anchoring it to the roof bar seems like the logical choice. Would just have to figure out how to do it in such a way as to still allow cargo boxes/racks to be attached to the bars.

Things that make you go hmmm...

I first became aware of this VX in early Oct of last Year when it was sold by a guy in Glasgow for £4500 on Ebay with 33Km on the clock. Then it was just a nice example of a stock VX, since then it seems to be blinged up by the current owner. Since it's purchase in Oct 08 it has done 24000 miles - that seems a lot in a year!

    If anyone's interested.

    I like the looks alot

but would never buy a vehicle so modified. Even if I like the mods the owner wants paid for his mods instead of depreciating them as used parts and one so modified for 4 wheeling can only assume to have been heavily used,

Possible, but I've seen plenty of poser's on the road with super-pricey lifts/tires/rims/etc., and the thing is so clean you could eat off the undercarriage. I know that's SOP for rickshaw, but I'm willing to bet those guys have never hopped a curb, let alone gone offroad.

Its being sold by some scottish Knob
its not a Dakar model - it's just made to look like it and advertised like it
i would say its been thrashed and it's a heep
i would go as far as to say the car is a total waste of money
its had so many non genuine parts fitted it no longer deserves the name Vehicross
the guy was just talking about 'jeeps'
i did try to say its not a 'jeep' but he wasn't listening
good luck to whoever buys it - i think we may have some spares coming soon
    cheers

I think most of us on this site know there is no such thing as a "Dakar model".

    Oh the poor thing...

I found another one recently, but need to get the piccy off a mate's camera. It is immaculate and stacked with JDM accessories (side steps, solid mudflaps, mats, etc.). The only thing it was missing was Crotchrocket's ickle light bar. I was really upset when it rocked up at JAE - I wanted to be the only one.
