Rear Cargo Light- What'd I do wrong ?

I hate starting a new thread on this but I musta done something wrong. I was doing the rear cargo light like Ldub did towards the end of this thread rear area cargo light.. But it appears I've made a mistake along the way.
Here's a pic from inside the vehicle with the light on

Notice it really puts out a nice light in the cargo area

However when I open the rear cargo door the cargo area goes dim.

It does however light the ground nicely.
