It appears it's going to be a cold, long winter. Wouldn't have thought of you storing your nuts there tho. Jus my thoughts but those stored there might would make ya think you had an aweful rattle in the dash. YFBF Handeeman

"He's not in, may we take a message?"

So one has to ask....where's the squirrel?...'cuz a squirrel and his nuts are seldom separated.... Is he chewing up your wiring?

Naw ... no squirrel. They are direct injection units (straight from the tree, down the windshield & under the hood.

Funny story though: I've actually seen the squirrels gather the acorns & put them in the driveway for us to walk on/drive on/crush. They come back later for a nice snack ... lazy arse squirrels. The neighborhood cats have caught on to that trick tho so the squirrels population is down lately.

Handee - concerning your comment ... I have no response to that.

You say "lazy". I say , "resourceful".

Ever seen a wild squirrel give a High Five?

At least acorns are easy to clean out. My work is surrounded by pive trees, so I have pine needles and sap to deal with year'round. *grumble grumble*

I've still got a plop of pine sap on the TLC from 10 years ago. Hard as a rock & no way to get it off without taking paint wit it.

    Ldub - I agree. Lazy.

Here's a pic of one that adopted us last Easter.

They made us turn him into a shelter though. We only had him for a few days.

Squirrel had a nasty abdominal wound + daughter (the one in the pic) works at a vet + State laws = squirrel had to find a new home.

Ash actually visited him a few times & he fully recovered and was released to the wild (of course he still hangs around the reserve - he's just not caged).

    Lazy arse squirrel.
